Boardgames

Musket & Pike Series - GMT

A fine series of two-player tactical games spanning the English Civil War, The Thirty Years War and the battles of Gustav Adolf the Great.

Thirty Years War - GMT

The title says it all.  A card driven game of the entire war that is tense and exciting in play.  Unfortunately out of print, but you should be able to find a copy on eBay.

Here I Stand: Wars of the Reformation 1517-1555 - GMT

Another card driven game, this time covering the political and religious conflicts of early 16th Century Europe.  For 3-6 players (can be played 2 player with an additional set of cards and variant rules contained in issue #19 of C3i, GMT's company magazine).

Revolution: The Dutch Revolt 1568-1648 - Phalanx

Strategic game simulating the Eighty Years' War between Spain and the Netherlands. An unusual topic with asymmetrical play for 2 to 5 players.  An excellent game, with fine components to boot!
